Naomi Taschimowitz was celebrating another top-class run this season at the prestigious Cross de Atapuerca event held in Northern Spain, the 1st IAAF permit Cross Country meet of the season.

On a sunny afternoon in dry conditions, the Senior Women's 8K race was won by Oljira Belaynesh of Ethiopia in 24.52, with England's first runner being Emma Clayton finishing 14th in 27.24.  Louise Damen came 16th in 27.30, just 11 seconds ahead of Naomi who placed 22nd in 27.41.  Kate Holt completed the English quartet placing 31st in 28.04.
