Firstly, thank you so much to Neil and Toby for a fabulous physio talk last night, it was reassuring to know that we can conquer these injuries and come back stronger.  Does anyone else have a skills set they would like to share with us one evening?

Boom ! Well done….. Kate Drew, Alice Murray-Gourlay, Kim Hill and Kirstie Booth ….. winners of the Run Exe relays on Friday night!

 

As a footnote to last week’s result, our latest member, Luke Goldswothy with his 1.17 PB at the Bath 2 Tunnels Half was only first man home…… you kept that quiet young man!

 

On a beautiful evening for running ….. Nick Williams, Ellie Steer, Robin Green, Ursula Green, and Sharron Kington ran at the Town Tree Trail 10k MT, sorry I have not located results yet!

 

Lesley Westgate was at Exmouth Triathlon, while Keith was at the Plymouth Half and Matt Cole at the Exeter Half…… sadly injury got the better of both of them, finishing in 1.29 and 1.32 respectively.

 

Track 5K

Well done guys on this last Tuesday, I know you found it tough, but as Woosh would say ‘Its good for your career!!’  I don’t think how much mentally stronger you all are than a lot of runners out there, you all tackle these sessions with vigour and good humour and just get stuck in …… it really shows in those results….. you are brill!!

Use this as a benchmark, we will do it again in the summer, so you can have another crack at it…..woop woop I hear you cry!
