Some great results out there from the weekend !

 

Bristol Half Marathon

Ben Tull…. Strutting his stuff amongst the elite today, Ben ran an accomplished 1hr 17.34.

 

World Tri Champs

Reiterating how hot it was in Mexico (see also Brownlee bros) Julian Ridgely was 24th in his age group and Carl Ward 64th in his. Never mind boys, Autumn is now here in Taunton !

 

Natterjack 10K Southport

Michael Heyes was 7th overall in 37.50 on a very windy course.

 

Here we go then……Hurrah for team Taunton AC !!!!

Taunton 10K

Keith Paul 35.33, 4th overall and 2nd Vet 50…. Only 16 seconds separated the first 4 runners….. must have been the haircut..

Jon Gilling 37.09, 1st V40 welcome back to the TAC fold JG !!

Danny Doyle 37.55, PB, keep chasing the boys in front DD, you are catching them!!

Hannah Taunton 38.02 PB, 3rd lady overall and first senior lady good work Hannah, keep DD in your sights!

Craig Whitemore 39.33 PB 2nd V45 See Craig , believe and you will achieve !

Kim Hill 39.37 4th lady and 1st V35 as consistent as ever!

Simon Patterson 40.24 after a night of no sleep with the cubs you did well to stay awake and complete the course!!

Martin Bluemel 40.41 2nd V55 another prize for the trophy cabinet Martin, good work!

Adam Snow 40.54 Another first for Adam, first 10K and 2nd U20 with a good family contingent there to watch who must have been very proud of you !!

Scott Weetch 44.04 not bad for marathon mile legs! Just shy of your overall PB.

James Riste 44.05 After being out of the running game for a couple of years, good to see you back!

Alan Bolon 45.20 I know you would have been a bit disappointed with this Alan, please don’t be, the big amount of progress you have made this year is awesome….. always another day….

Robin Green 47.01 PB who ever thought you would run this fast Mr Green….

Jackie Batten  47.22 Keep working Jacks, good to see you out there.

Ellie Steer 48.39 Well done Ellie, let's keep you training and see what you do next year, it will be interesting ……

Nadine Prouse 52.10, You have had a great year, you look stronger each session, keep going forward girl!

Lesley Westgate 49.19 No idea how those little legs go so fast but a well deserved 1st V60

Ursula Green 56.52 hope those injuries will soon be behind you and you can work consistently again.

Sharron Kington 1.00.38 officially a ‘’slow….. coach’’ but pleased considering I thought it would be 1hr 10…. Watch out Ursula and Suzi I am coming to get you !!

 

And talking of Suzi, she is organising a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Beacon Centre tomorrow from 10-3 so if anyone has time to pop in the cakes are always really scrummy!!!
