 It’s that time of the year to dust your wallets off and do your membership.  Please put your forms in the box in the clubhouse or if any questions on how it works and which option you would like to go for, please do ask me…..If you are joining as second claim, your EA licence will get paid to your first claim club….  (Just be aware if you do not pay an England Athletic licence you cannot claim affiliated rates on races, a lot of races do have checkers in place now.)

Nick Daniels has finally done it !!! He recorded his first Parkrun win at Seaton a couple of Saturdays ago in the wind and rain in 19.31

Carl Ward went to the scenic Pembrey off road duathlon which was part of the Welsh Champs and came 14th and 2nd vet

Jon Gilling, and Richard and Lesley Westgate trundled round Babcary, part of the Somerset series with Jon 2nd home in 44.58, Richard 58.09 and Lesley 1.03.23. This race is quite unusual in that it awards prizes for age grading…… with Jon 3rd age grader male and Lesley 3rd age grader female……

Both Scott and Kim went to the Bideford Half in all that weather, mad !! Neither were very happy with their times so I won’t rub salt in their wounds…. But all I would like to say is I would love to be able to even run that distance, let alone in the times they did, so well done you two, Taunton up next….. you can do it !

Kirstie Booth went to Oulton Park Race Circuit for the ITU duathlon sprint qualifier, also in the wind and rain, nice pic on Facebook Kirstie, looking most attractive! Anyway despite the weather Kirstie was 5th lady and second in her age group so is now qualified for the World Champs in Canada.
