SHARRON'S ROUND-UP 07.04.16
Taunton Half and Full Marathon
The Taunton AC team was a great combination of youth and experience with some old hands at the distance, but also with a handful of first timers. Many PBs were obtained and a bunch of very satisfied runners by the end of the afternoon!
Ladies
First home for the club was the ever consistent Hannah Taunton as second lady in a PB of 1.23.52. Kim Hill 1.27.28, Pauline Beer 1.36.12 (PB), Jackie Batten 1st V45 1.43.27, Lesley Westgate 1.54.36, Stacy Grant 1.58.04 , Ursula Green 2.11.14, who was carrying on with another 9 miles with clubmate Suzi Griffiths for VLM miles and Caroline Elliott in her very first half in 2.40.13 (PB). The combination of Hannah, Kim and Pauline won Taunton AC the coveted ladies team prize.
Gents
Junior member Sam Webber in his first half ran splendidly in 1.31.25 (PB), as did a cramp stricken Ben Tull 1.32.06 (PB), with Keith Paul pacing Adam Snow to his first run at the distance in 1.34.30 and 1.34 28 (PB) respectively. Paul Williams 1.37.41, Rob Brown 1.42.14 (PB) and Robin Green 1.57.11 (PB) also ran their first 13.1 mile race.

North London Half
Rowan Preece at St Mary’s University claimed 3rd place at the North London Half in a time of 1.10.34.
Don’t forget to let me know if you go off and do anything results wise please….. everyone loves to know how you are all doing and where you are going!
Also membership subs are now overdue, so if monies can come my way over the next couple of weeks that would be great !
(Also let me know if not renewing so I will not chase when Jo gives me the unpaid list….)
Happy running all,
Shaz x
