PHIL AT WORLD MASTERS

 

Congratulations to Phil Burden who finished fifth in the World Masters last weekend in Lyon, France.  Phil was running in the V35 5000m, racing in scorching temperatures of 38C.  He posted a track PB of 15.31, and was the first Briton home, coming in behind a Belgian, a Swede and two Spanish runners. 

 

Club coach Gerry Hogg also competes in the World Masters this coming weekend, over the marathon.  Let's hope the temperature has dropped a little by then!
