What a difference a day makes! Beautiful running conditions for today’s racers. For those at parkrun yesterday, perhaps not so ideal 😂🌧️

First off ….the results

Team Green headed up the road to run the AVR half (that was cancelled due to a storm last year) for a hilly, but nice route and well-organised race by Avon Valley Runners.

Last of the Somerset race series was at Brent Knoll, always a tough race to finish with, but as you can see from Miles pic, the views are well worth the effort.  The Somerset series is great fun to do and something to give you a focus on for the year. Why not challenge yourself next year…. First one is Chard Flyer on New Year’s Day!  Today’s results gave Jon Gilling a first in age group and well up the finishing list. 
Miles Pearce worked hard to keep hold of his series 1st MV50 and 7th overall in the series.
