Hey peeps!

Just a couple of things coming up if you would like to take advantage….. team outings are always such fun, so please do get involved when you can!

 

This Saturday…….

Montecute parkrun …… proper old fashioned school cross country course around the scenic fields of Montecute National Trust estate, I am a wimp and prefer it in the good weather! Any takers, we can arrange car share….. (great tea room!)

 

This Sunday….

Run at Sampford Peverall down the Tiverton canal, 9.00am….. breakfast at the Old Well (tea cakes available!)

 

Next Wednesday 2nd August 7.15pm…..

Haselbury Trail 10K, off road, 2 loop, lovely scenic with stiles and a cheeky hill at the end of each loop…… burgers and beer available at the end.

Based at North Perrott Cricket Club. Any takers we can do car share……

Wednesday 9th August

Yeovilton 5K ….. flat and fast, only two events remaining.

Again we can car share, please do just let me know if you want to meet……

 

Tuesday Training…..We are so lucky to have had such lovely peeps join us over the last few months, but that does mean numbers for Tuesday really are at a premium (We have to be mindful of the fact we are not sole users of the track on Tuesday and need to be aware of other runners around us and keep in close to the inside lane so other quicker runners can overtake easily).

We really want to do the best by you guys who have been so loyal to us, so we are going to endeavour to ask any NEWcomers that they start on a Thursday and then progress to a Tuesday when we feel they are ready…… we will also need to be offering coaching to new people only if they are looking to join the club and not from other clubs as it is so important that we look after you guys and ensure you have quality coaching and not just be a number..
