What a terrific weekend for Team TAC!

I know you were trying to keep this under the radar Ash, but it’s out there now and you smashed it….fabulous, well done 💪👏 From a very proud Daisy!  Ashley completed the ultra today! (Saturday) 50km of some very big hills and tough terrain in the Mendips! He completed it with my brother in law Ollie in 6hrs 38mins!

Corsham 10K

After many months of injury and illness, John Wilkinson laced up his trainers and headed to Wiltshire for an annual family jaunt. As everywhere it was very hot, but a well organised and supported event.

A great benchmark for John to now push on from 😀

London Marathon

No matter what weekend it falls on, it’s nearly always hot for London! It’s very cruel for all those who have trained all the winter in cold, wet and wind and are certainly not acclimatised to a heatwave 😒

However , you all laced up those trainers, and off you went…. Putting Taunton AC on the map again… you were all absolute stars!

Andy Staples…. 3.00.57 … having struggled with niggles in the last few months, a PB was a huge reward.

Emma Kiernan…. Having not even given birth this time last year and an extended time on the sidelines after, to be marathon ready is nothing short of a miracle.  For fear of embarrassing you further Emma, have a look at these splits…sorry gang she truly top trumped you all… 7.07, 7.08, 7.08, 7.08, 7.08, 7.07, 7.07, 7.06, 7.04, 7.02

Laura Jones….3.15.16 Chaleigh O Brian… 3.42.43 (PB?). Big congrats to Charleigh for hitting her fundraising raising target💪

Suzy Cole….3.47.07… nice nails!

Tabitha Divall….4.25.39

(Matt Bawden….3.58.11… I challenged him to beat my 4.02… rats , he’s going to be smug 😂)
