Hannah Taunton took on the best T20 1500m runners in the world this Sunday, and finished 5th in a time just outside her personal best.  She was part of the GB team at the World Para Athletics Championships, winning her first international vest in the process.

Sensing that it was going to be a slow run race, Hannah took affairs into her own hands, and led for half the race in a bid to get the tempo going.  However a very strong burst on the final lap by the eventual winner left Hannah in 5th place at the finish.  But what an amazing achievement!  Congratulations Hannah from everyone at Taunton AC!
