The National Head of Coach and Athlete Development at England Athletics Martin Rush said "I have seen Charlotte grow from being a highly accomplished coach operating at club level to gradually taking on more responsibility and challenges, resulting in her being an integral part of England and GB team management.  It has not only been her hard work and dedication but also her ability to calmly focus on the key issues that make an impact.  She brings a calm assertiveness to her coaching and work with her athletics colleagues that gains respect."

Taunton AC's head endurance coach Charlotte Fisher has won a prestigious England Athletics national award.  At the recent glittering national awards ceremony held in Birmingham, Charlotte was presented with the Dave Sunderland Coaching Bursary Award.  Dave Sunderland was a highly regarded endurance coach who was Charlotte's national coach mentor until he sadly died of cancer in early 2014.

Charlotte has coached club, county and international athletes over the last few years, and was recently appointed the National Coach Mentor for Youth Endurance.  She was a team coach at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2015 World Cross-Country Championships in China, and is off in December to the South of France where she will be looking after the Senior Women at the European Cross-Country Championships.
