Important changes to some of the top positions in the club have been announced.  After several years of guiding the club through a period of expansion and unprecedented success, Mike Rogers steps down as Chair of the club.

 

Mike started volunteering at the club in 2008 when his two daughters joined the club, and then took over as Chair when his daughters left for university.  He also steered the club through several major improvements to our facilities, including resurfacing the track and building a new clubhouse.  Thanks to Mike, the club now is able to use the track seven days a week, ensuring the best possible training opportunities for both athletes and coaches.

 

Taking up the role with immediate effect is Martin Rodgers, father of two talented athletes in the club, who can be contacted at chair@tauntonac.org

 

We would also like to thank Jenna Gilbert for her work as Club Secretary over the last few years, and from now on this role will be looked after by Alice Murray-Gourlay, secretary@tauntonac.org
