Hi Sharr;
With pleasure I'd like to let you and Keith know, that I was accepted with registration to represent Taunton Athletic Club, on one from the most difficult Ultra - Trail Races in Poland 107k on 15 - 16 of June 2018. The time limit to finish this tough mountain race is 26 hours. Start is 6 pm. The difficulty level of this race is relevant to Ultra Trail Mont Blanc UTMB, rocky muddy and wet terrain ( 6000 meters ascent and descent ) and is qualifying race to UTMB as well.
It's gonna be the biggest challenge in my life I think ...
So I have around 7 months for training and please give me hills sessions as many is possible :)
A belated thank you to Carl for organising the 10 mile breakfast run from his….. incredibly tough, but really fun……. Apparently the fastest I moved was when he dragged a bag of sweets out that was hidden in the hedge half way and I was worried the others would have finished them all…..
This Sunday 3rd Dec
Wellington Monument trial run.
Meet at the Catherine Wheel in Hemyock at 9.30.
Any more takers for a trip to Cornwall for the Looe 10m race….. 24/25 Feb….. need to know by 1st Dec to book….
Happy running
